Well, that was a long day but a productive and eventful one.
More checking emails on the way home – oops – battery has nearly gone – and then replying from home. Check the e-learning support again – one student cant access some electronic resources (again!).

The afternoon speaker was enjoying himself so much he stayed until the end after which I bought him coffee and cake at the UCL Print Room Cafe (a cheap price to pay) before hurrying off to the bus stop to get to the Southbank.
This is a favourite of mine. We have guest speakers and then that is followed by a (student led) seminar – so less talking from me.
Today’s session is Health Informatics with a speaker (and friend of mine) who’s a researcher at CHIME here at UCL although based at Highgate.

a quick break for lunch (with more coffee) and reply to more emails. Then it’s back to the teaching room for the afternoon session.
